William H. "Bill" Culver

William H. (Bill) Culver, 71, of Oldham County, Ky., passed away July 19, 2018 . Bill worked at Sypris Tech (Tubeturns) from 1965 until 2012. Bill attended St. Polycarp Catholic Church and was very active in the Booster Club (1970s - mid 1990s). He moved to Oldham County in 1998 and became involved in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in LaGrange, Ky. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and loved his job as usher at 5:00 mass. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Alberta Culver; a brother Joseph Culver; a sister Louise Mattingly; along with nephews Mike and Tim Mattingly. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandra (Mulkins) Culver; 2 sons, Damon and Jason Culver; 2 Grandchildren, Andrea and Lincoln Culver; a sister Barbara Culver Summitt; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family. Services were held July 28th, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, La Grange. A graveside service will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, August 18th at St Thomas Cemetery, Bardstown. Arrangements are entrusted to Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.
