William Albert “Billy” Brady, Jr., 85, of New Haven, passed away November 9, 2022 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of the State of Kentucky Road Department, a United States Navy Veteran, a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, and the American Legion Post 121. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr and Ethel Mae Brady; his wife, Sylvia Newton Brady; a son, Samuel Brady; a daughter, Mary Lorraine Brady; a great-granddaughter, Millie Cate Greenwell; along with a friend, Lily Roby. He is survived by a son, Charles Wayne “Charlie” Brady; a daughter, Katherine Annette Greenwell (Steve); four brothers, Leo (Carol), Tony (Ann), Joe Paul (Millie), and Mike (Gayle) Brady; one sister, Jean Lyvers; along with three grandchildren, Joshua (Tia) and Whitney Greenwell and Madison Brady; one great-grandchild, Peyton Greenwell. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may visit 2-5 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.
