William Bishop Obituary

William Howard Ernest “Billy” Bishop, 85, of New Haven, passed away June 10, 2024. He was a retired pallet builder, with a lifetime contract with Dow Corning, and a Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Christine Montgomery Bishop; along with his siblings, Gary Melton, Herman Bishop, and Nancy Carter. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Lafollette (Joe); along with 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven. Friends are invited to gather starting at 3 p.m.
