Virginia Payne

Virginia Olive Tunget Payne, 87, of New Haven, KY, born on September 1, 1928 to the late George and Lottie Colvin Tunget, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Flaget Hospital in Bardstown, KY. She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Virginia is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy L. Stone and William Payne; a son, Roy Lee Stone; a daughter, Deborah Jean Stone; and a brother, Vernon Tunget; and one sister, Fannie Mae Mullins. Virginia is survived by four children, Virginia L. Stone Howard (David), Libby Stone Weber (Barry), Bessie Stone Edler, and George R. Stone (Christy); a sister, Joann Tunget Schneider; along with 14 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; & 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Friends may visit at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, KY on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN, with Eldon Morgan Officiating.
