Troy Davis Obituary

Alan Troy Davis, 45, of Bardstown, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Troy was a former employee of Wilbert Plastics, a member of AA, and a Catholic by faith. He was an avid University of Louisville fan, and enjoyed basketball, football, music, and had a great love for children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Davis; his grandparents, George and Ruby Davis; and brothers, Benji and Michael Wright. Troy is survived by his wife, April Boone; two stepdaughters, Courtney Taylor and Cayenne Boone; a brother, Jeremy Harmon; sisters, Hollie Mattingly and Melissa Wright; along with a granddaughter, Addie Jean Pollin. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until time of service on Thursday. Memorial gifts are suggested to be made to the funeral home.
