Theresa Marie Boone Lagerstrom Hargadon

Theresa Marie Boone Lagerstrom Hargadon, 95, of Memphis TN, passed away quietly Saturday 2/8/14 with family at her side in Louisville KY.  She was born to the late Susan Mattingly Boone and James Franklin Boone on 9/21/18 in Howardstown Kentucky.     She traveled the world with her nine children and late husband, Leander A. “Butch” Lagerstrom during his US ARMY service. She also visited Europe and met the pope with her second husband, the late James Hargadon. A devoted mother to each of her children and strong in her Catholic faith she touched the lives of family and friends throughout her life.  She served as a Eucharistic Minister in her church, and volunteered at the Germantown Library and at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN.       Her loving and giving spirit will be deeply missed by each of her children, grand-children, great-grandchildren, family and friends.       Along with her parents Theresa is preceded in death by her ten siblings; Catherine Wine, John Boone, Louis Boone, Agnes Boone, Rev. Charles Lawrence Boone, Delime Boone, Anthony Boone, Margaret Mary Hicks, James Boone Jr., Adolph Boone, and her husbands; Leander A. “Butch” Lagerstrom, James Hargadon; and her son Lee “Butch, Jr” Lagerstrom.      She is survived by 8 children; Judy Lagerstrom Schaub, Susan Lagerstrom Sullivan, Charles “Ed” Lagerstrom, Mark E. Lagerstrom, Rex P. Lagerstrom, MD,  Cindy K. Lagerstrom, Maria Lagerstrom and Annie Lagerstrom. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to St. Brigid's Catholic Church Building Fund, Memphis Tn.     No services will be held at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Saturday 2/15/14, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Howardstown, KY, with burial in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery.
