Stanley Ned Rosenbaum

Stanley Ned Rosenbaum 71, Boston, died Tuesday Nov. 29, 2011     He was born to the late Stanley Menz and Wilma Nussbaum Rosenbaum.  He was member of the Lexington Havuriah.  He was a retired Adjunct Professor at the University of Kentucky, and a former Professor of Jewish Studies at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was an Eagle Scout and a Woodrow Wilson Fellow.     In addition to his Parents, Stanley was preceded in death by a brother William M. Rosenbaum.   Stanley is survived by his Wife Mary Helene Pottker Rosenbaum, (2) sons, William “Will” Rosenbaum, Boston Ky, Ephraim Rosenbaum, New York, (1) daughter, Dr. Sarah Rosenbaum (Yukio Tezuka), Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  (5) Grandchildren, Elijah, Hannah, Zane, Benjamin-Yoshito, and Naomi Grace. (1) Brother, James Klein, New Hope Pennsylvania.     The Funeral will be at 1 Pm Friday Dec. 2 at the Skakel Chapel at the Abbey of Gethsemani with burial in the Bardstown City Cemetery.   Expressions of sympathy may be given to Jewish Hospital in Louisville Kentucky.   Arrangements by Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, www.jlgfuneralhome.com
