Samuel Ignatius "Sammy" Boone

Samuel I. "Sammy" Boone, 79, of Florence, KY, formerly of New Haven, KY, passed away October 23, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was a retired employee of Capital Concrete Sawing, Coring, and Drilling, and a United States Navy Veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mary Agnes Boone; along with his brothers, Jerry, Stevie, and Carroll Boone.  He is survived by his son, Perry Boone; his daughter, Christy Frey (Erik); three brothers, Bernie, Joe Lawrence, and Allan Boone; along with four grandchildren, Carrin, Ellie, Violet, and Kadin. Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow the visitation.
