Ruel Kenneth Richey, Sr.

Ruel Kenneth Richey, Sr., 93, of Boston, passed away July 29, 2022 at Landmark of Bardstown.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a Kentucky Colonel, and a retired barber of over 60 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beulah Richey; along with a son, Kenneth Richey.  He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Pickerell Richey; a son, Ruel K. Richey, Jr. (Anna); two daughters, Paula Shipp (David) and Connie Sissom (Kurt); two sisters, Ruby Cochran and Patty Brewer; along with seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.  Cremation was chosen.  Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven has been entrusted with arrangements.
