Rose Johnson Obituary

  Rose Marie “Rosie” Johnson, New Haven age 72 passed away at Flaget Memorial Hospital on Friday March 14, 2014.  She was born and raised in New Haven by the late Clarence Roberts Johnson Sr and Mary Finetta Hayden Johnson, a Catholic by Faith and a member of the St. Catherine Catholic Church, she retired from Jewish Hospital as a Nursing Assistant.   Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by (3) Brothers, Nicholas G. Johnson Sr., Joseph Hayden Johnson, and David Christopher “Red Eye” Johnson.  Rosie is survived by her Step Mother, Sister Jean Johnson, Loretto,  her siblings; James Phillip “Phil” Johnson (Margaret), Karen Johnson Downs (David), Jack Johnson (Carol) all of Bardstown KY., Clarence Roberts "Bobby" Johnson Jr. (Guyula), New Haven KY ,Mary Dean Beyke (Jim) of Central City KY, Bernard Kevin Johnson (Marie) of Indianapolis IN. Many nieces and nephews also survive.   A Funeral Mass for Rose Marie Johnson will be held on Monday, 11 am, March 17, 2014 at the St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven, with the Rev. Ken Fortener officiating. Burial will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery in New Haven Kentucky.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 pm-8 pm with a Prayer service at 5 pm, and on Monday morning 9–10:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.  Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
