Robert "Bobby" Carter

Robert Hugh "Bobby" Carter, 83, of Nelsonville, passed away April 11, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed auto racing and UK sports. Bobby was a retired employee of General Electric and a United States ArmyVeteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Golden and Alene Booth Carter; along with his wife, Sara White Carter. He is survived by two sons, Greg and David (Theresa) Carter; a daughter, Gina Cundiff (Stacey); one brother, Benny Carter (Joan); one sister, Tootsie Williams (Fred); along with eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
