Randall Pinkston

Randall Paul "Randy" Pinkston, 44, of New Haven, passed away June 13, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was a teacher for both Nelson and Hardin Counties, a coach of both boys and girls basketball at St. Catherine School, New Haven Youth Baseball, and Thomas Nelson Golf Team.  He also attended both St. Catherine and St. Gregory Catholic Churches. He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Johnson Pinkston;  his beloved daughter, Mattie Mae Pinkston;  his brother, Zachary Pinkston;  along with his parents, Rudy and Karen Pinkston. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home.  A prayer service will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday.   In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the St. Catherine School Athletic Program.
