Paul Vittitow

Joseph Paul Vittitow, 73, of Athertonville, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at his home. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, a United States Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam, and the owner of Vittitow Farms, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Eugene and Mary Lillian Smith Vittitow; two brothers, Fred and Harold Vittitow; along with a sister, Nancy Mattingly. He is survived by a brother, Irvin Vittitow (Janice); two sisters, Jean Boone and Martha Bullock (Tom); a special friend, Guyula Johnson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven. Pallbearers will be Irvin Jr., Danny, Charlie, Donald, Tom, and Rob Vittitow. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Catherine Academy.
