Nellie Boone Obituary

Nellie L. Boone, 75, of New Haven, passed away September 22, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Boone; a daughter, Shelia Mathison; along with three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Bernie Boone; two sons, Ray Davis (Jo Ellen) and Matthew Boone (Amy); two daughters, Kimberly Hagan (Pat) and Jennifer DeWitt (Josh); a grand-daughter, whom she loved and raised as a daughter, Brooklyn Trammell (Ryan); one brother, Benny Wilson (Elaine); one sister, Marilyn Baker; along with 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Catherine Catholic Church Cemetery.
