Nancy Jean (Brey) Devers

Nancy Jean Devers, 88, of Hodgenville, passed away December 8, 2023, at Sunrise Manor.  She was a homemaker, a personal caregiver, former member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Howardstown, and a current member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Hodgenville.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Josephine Brey; her loving husband, John Devers; a son, David Lloyd Devers; a grand-daughter, Angelina Marielle Devers; along with her siblings, Elizabeth Greenwell, Doris Clan, Rita Gibson, Beulah Devers, Louis Brey, John E. Brey, Fredaline Clark, and Kenneth Brey.  She is survived by her son, Eric Devers; a brother, Joseph Ramey Brey (Jacqueline); 5 grandchildren, Bethany, Nicole, Christina, and Jonathan Devers, and Samantha Hahn; along with 4 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Gryffin, Ryker, and Freya.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joachim Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.  A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Hosparus.
