Mitchel McDougale Obituary

A Balltown resident, Mitchel Stephen “Shorty” McDougale, Age 69 yrs passed away Friday June 17, 2011 at his residence. He was a member and Deacon at the First Baptist Church in New Haven. He was helping out at Wayno’s Garage in New Haven for over 12 years, a retired employee of 40 years of service from International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Blacksmiths Local 40 and a member of Dunavan Masonic Lodge #292 at Boston KY. Mitchel was preceded in death by his Parents, Buster and Ida Mae Looney McDougale, a brother, Virgil Ray McDougale and a grandson Robert Mitchel O’Bryan. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Baugh McDougale, (3) daughters; Bonita McDougale, Laura McDougale and Missy (Scott) Bartley. (5) grandchildren, Jennifer Humphrey, Amanda Jackson, Andrew Bartley, Zachary Bartley, and Amiee Stanley. (7) great grandchildren, Shane Humphrey, Chelsea Humphrey, Dylan Harris, Elijah O’Bryan, Sierra O’Bryan, Quentin Jackson and Collin Jackson. He also is survived by (3) brothers, Steven, Charles and James McDougale, (5) sisters, Shirley (John) Miles, Debbie (Ed) Rachford, Joyce (Charlie) Wells; Charlotte (Joe) Whelan and Jackie McDougale. Many aunts’ uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends also survive. The Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Tuesday June 21, at the Funeral Home with Bro. Dana DeSpain officiating. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Bardstown Visitation will begin at 10 am till 8 pm Monday and again at 9:00 am on Tuesday till time of Service at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. An International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Blacksmiths Local 40 service on Monday evening at 7:00 pm and Dunavan Masonic Lodge #292 service at 7:30 pm. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, entrusted with the arrangements.
