Michael “Mike” Buford Holt, 58, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday evening after suffering a Heart Attack. He was born to the late Robert Buford “RB” Holt and Mary Sue Crady Holt. He was a Baptist by faith, a graduate of Larue County High School and Nashville Auto-Diesel College in Nashville Tn and was employed at Fort Knox, in the Department of Defense as an Inspector. He was Deacon and a Member of the Rolling Fork Baptist Church, Lincoln Trail Gun Club, Amateur Trap Shooting Assoc., and a Red Cross Blood and Platelet donor. In addition to his Father, Mike is preceded in death by his sister Anita Holt. . Mike is survived by his Wife Debbie Brooks Holt, his Mother, Mary Sue Holt, a Daughter, Valerie Holt, (2) sons, Robert Matthew (Cara) Holt, and Jon Wesley (Kellie) Holt, a step daughter, Dara Brackett, and a step son Derek (Debbie) Ford. (6) Grandchildren, Michael Briar, Cole, Taylor, Brooks, Curtis and Carris. (1) sister, Robin (Gary) Vittitow, (2) brothers, Tony (Sandy) Holt, and Chris (Susan) Holt. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. The Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 11 at Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Boston with burial in the Church cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m Thursday, at Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven and continues at 9 a.m. Friday till the time of service at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Boston.
