Mary Catherine Thornsberry

Mary Catherine Thornsberry 76, of Culvertown died Saturday April 14, 2012 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born to the late James Benedict and Mary Ada Mattingly in Loretto KY., a Catholic by faith, and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Culvertown.  Along with her parents Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold “Jimmy” Thornsberry, (2) sons; James Darrell and Joseph Earl Thornsberry, (3) brothers, Clyde, Marty, and Bunk Mattingly, (3) sisters, Inez Morgan, Alice Jackson, and Dilly Jackson.  She is survived by (3) Sons; Harold Dennis (Patty) Thornsberry, Culvertown, Allen Bruce (Carla) Thornsberry, Culvertown, Charles Anthony “Tony” Thornsberry, Culvertown. (4) Daughters;  Beverly Diane (Mike) Cecil, Culvertown, Cathy Denise (Terry) Sidebottom, Boston, Janet Renee (Danny) Boone, New Haven, Theresa Faye “Terri” (Wendy) Kennedy, New Haven.  (14) Grandchildren, (12) Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral Service for Catherine will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am, April 17 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown with Father Troy Overton officiating. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Church Cemetery in Bardstown.  Visitation will be Monday 3:00 till 8 pm, Tuesday at 8 till 10:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
