Mary Lucille Smith

Mary Lucille Smith, New Haven age 88 passed away at her residence Sunday September 8, 2013. A life long resident of New Haven and Culvertown area, she was born and raised by the late Louis Watson and Catherine Gertrude Spain Greenwell, a Catholic by Faith and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of Culvertown Senior Citizens.  Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her Husband, William Louis Smith Sr., an infant daughter, Theresa Mae Smith, (2) Grandsons, Christopher W. Smith and Joseph T “Jo Jo” Gilpin Jr. and a great grand daughter, Alyssa Marie Metcalfe. (3) Brothers, Burt, William and Marvin Greenwell and (1) Sister, Mildred Culver.  Lucille is survived by (12) children; Donnie (Jan) Smith, Charlie Smith, Wanda (Arthur) Smith, Bill (Vicki) Smith, Marion (Lisa ) Smith, Marilyn (Darrell) Greenwell, Carolyn (Keith) Metcalfe, Mary Ellen (Dan) Ballard, Brenda Gilpin, Joe (Jennifer) Smith, Louise Clark and Johnny Smith; (32) Grandchildren and (32) Great Grandchildren.  A Funeral Mass for Mary Lucille Smith will be held on Wednesday, 11 am, September 11, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown, with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Church Cemetery in Bardstown Kentucky.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 pm-8 pm with a Prayer service at 6 pm, and on Wednesday morning 9–10:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
