Mary Antonella McCorkle

  Mary Antonella Boone McCorkle, 55 of Hodgenville passed away on Thursday July 5, 2012 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born in Bardstown KY, a Catholic by faith, and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Howardstown. She was employeed by Nationwide Uniform in Hodgenville where she worked for 42 years as a seamstress and most recently as a Safty Captain.  Antonella was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Bernard and Nellie Ann Clark Boone, (2) sisters, Marie Sharp and Jessie Cissell and (3) brothers, J.B., Eugene and Raymond Boone.  She is survived by, her Loving Husband, William Thomas McCorkle of Hodgenville, (2) children, Amy Michelle McCorkle, Hodgenville and James William (J.W.) McCorkle, Sonora and a Granddaughter, Talia Hightower.   (6) Brothers; J.B., Ivo, Felix, Marvin, Freddy and Daniel Boone. (2) sisters, Mary and Phyllis Boone.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.   A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Ann Catholic Church  in Howardstown on Monday July 9, 2012 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Ken Fortener officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery.   Visitation for Antonella McCorkle will be 3:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday and at 9:00 – 10:30 am on Monday at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home.
