Mary Margaret (Thornsberry) Hagan

Mary Margaret Hagan, 95, of New Haven, passed away November 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was a longtime member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Louis Hagan; her parents, Russell and Aline Bryan Thornsberry; three sons, Jerry, Ronnie, and Lonnie Hagan; a daughter, Janice Hagan; her siblings, Russell, Bernard, and Gene Thornsberry, Sue DeWeese, and Juanita Jones; along with a daughter in law, Kathy Hagan and a son in law, Larry Norris.  She is survived by her son, Deryl Hagan; four daughters, Jessica Miles (Daniel), Cheryl Hagan, Ann Norris (Dan), and Terri Norris; a brother, J.M. Thornsberry; along with 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.  Friends may visit 4-6 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Nelson County.
