Mary A. “Pee Wee” (Mitchell) Dorsey

Mary A. “Pee Wee” Dorsey, 84, of Bardstown, returned to to her Heavenly Father on February 25, 2022.  She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and spent many years as the custodian for the Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ozetta Mitchell; her husband, Shelby Howard Dorsey; a son, Joseph Allen Dorsey; a daughter, Mary Helen Andrews; along with three brothers and six sisters.  She is survived by three sons, Charles (Wanda), Frederick, and William Eugene Dorsey; two daughters, Mary Maddox (Kenny) and Ann Dorsey; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.
