Lawrence J Nelson

Lawrence J. Nelson, 82, of New Haven, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. A resident of Nelson County, he was a retired Blacksmith for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hilda Jenson Nelson; one brother Ozzie Nelson and two sisters, Sylvia Ringen and  Lillian Nelson. He was survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Nelson of New Haven Ky. One sister, Gertrude Turner of Iowa. By sons, Kevin Nelson of Jeffersonville IND, Ozzie (Diane) Nelson of Bloomfield KY, and Jay Nelson of New Haven KY. Two daughters Hope (Danny) Mang of Louisville KY, and Ruth LeAnne (Wayne) Vasquez of Jeffersonville IND, and two Grandchildren Lawrence Mang and Natali Vasquez. There will be no services for Lawrence at this time.
