Laurie Johnson Boone

   Kathryn Laureen “Laurie” Johnson Boone, 63 of Bardstown passed away on Saturday April 14, 2012 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.   She was born in Lebanon KY, a Catholic by faith, and a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven.   Laurie was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Dean Johnson Jr. and a brother Pat Johnson.   She is survived by, her Loving Husband, James Edward “Eddie” Boone;  (5) Girls, Karen (Dewayne) Boblett, Bardstown, Becky (T.J.) Tatum, Bardstown, Cathy Boone, Charlotte NC, Kelly (Jeff) Gillum, Richmond Ky,  Katie Bertuzzi, Elizabethtown, KY  and (6) Grandchildren.  Her mother, Nancy Lee Hubbard Johnson Head, New Haven,  (3) Brothers; Paul Johnson, Barth Johnson, Fenton Johnson, (3) sisters, Martha Young, Nancy Derry and Sue Levonian.    Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.   A Memorial Service will be held at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home  in New Haven  on Monday April 16, 2012 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Cremation was chosen   Visitation for Laurie Johnson Boone will be 2:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday April 15th at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home.
