Katherine Margaret (Dicken) Spalding

Katherine Margaret Spalding, 95, of Louisville, passed away March 7, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville.  She was a retired insurance claims specialist and a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Dicken; along with her loving husband, James. J. Spalding, Sr.  She is survived by two sons, James, Jr. (Deb) and Joe Spalding; one daughter, Diane Warner (Kerry); her siblings, Louise Spalding and Joe and Ralph Dicken; five grandchildren, Justin Spalding, Erin O'Connor, and Matt, David, and Amy Warner; along with eleven great-grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park.  Friends may visit that day from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington.  Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, has been entrusted with arrangements.
