Joyce Marie Dones

  Joyce Marie Skaggs Dones, 60 of New Haven, died Monday July 9, 2012 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a Baptist by faith, and was preceded in death by Her parents Herman Ray and Effie Mae McNear Skaggs.(2) brothers, Raymond and James Skaggs. Joyce is survived by (4) sons; Kelly Wayne Greenwell, Francis Edward “Ted” Greenwell, Lester Ray “Bo” Greenwell, and Joseph Hank Greenwell, and (3) grandchildren which she cared for, Tonya Marie (Mike) Gaffney, Sarah Beth and Joseph Wayne Greenwell, and Kellina Greenwell, Texas. (2) Brothers, Floyd “Frog” Skaggs, and Donald “Duck” Skaggs, both of Hodgenville. (2) Sisters, Mary Ann Miller, Boston, and Virginia (Bill) Gill, Boston.     Funeral Service will be at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven on Thursday at 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Larue County. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10 AM till the time of service.   Memorial Contributions in Joyce’s Honor may be made to the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home , P.O.
