Joseph Alan Simpson II

Joseph Alan "Joey" Simpson, II, 31, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017.   He was an employee of Ballard Transfer, Inc. and a Catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jean Cecil. He is survived by his father, Joseph Alan Simpson;  a sister, JoAnna J. Willett;  two brothers, Alan Levi and William Clifton Greer Simpson;  along with his grandparents, Freddy and Jenny Simpson and Brenda and Nolan Hutchins. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the family in care of the funeral home.
