Jon Brock Burd

Jon Brock Burd 28, New Haven, died Tuesday July 10, at University Hospital in Louisville from injuries he received in an automobile accident.  He was a Catholic by faith, and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in New Hope.  Brock was an avid outdoorsman and was employed by Louisville Paving.  Brock was preceded in death by a sister, Kristen Cyprianne Burd his paternal Grandparents, Billy and Sue Burd, and Maternal Grandparents, David and Essie Mae Boone.  He is survived by a Son; Jon Mason Burd, his Parents; Glenn and Anna Boone Burd, New Haven, (1) brother, Ben Burd (Kim); (1) sister, Kellie Routt (Oakes); and (2) nieces, Carlee and Kinley Burd.   Funeral Service for Brock Burd will be held on Friday 11:00 am, July 13, 2012 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in New Hope with Father Ken Fortener officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.  Visitation will begin Thursday at 4:00 pm till 9 pm, with a prayer service at 6 pm by Deacon Eddie Hutchins, and again on Friday at 8 am till 10:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Joseph L.
