John Nalley Jr. Obituary

John Richard “Johnny” Nalley Jr. of Mt. Washington, formerly of Culvertown, age 71 died at Jewish Hospital on Friday March 13, 2015.  He was a Catholic by Faith, he attended St. Francis of Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington, and he retired from General Electric after 35 years of service as a Production Control Specialist. Johnny was an avid UK fan and loved to play golf.  Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John Richard Nalley Sr. and Mary Esther Culver Nalley; and a sister, Joann Nalley.  He is survived by (1) son, Patrick Nalley of Louisville, (6) siblings, Madeline Webb, Mary “Boonie” Brown (Jimmy), Charlie Nalley (Peggy), Donna Harbison (James) all of Louisville, Betty Wilson of Simpsonville and Ed Nalley (Louise) of Bardstown.  A Funeral Mass for John Richard Nalley will be held on Monday, 10 am, March 16, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown, with Johnny’s nephew, Rev. Joseph Mary Brown and  Rev. Troy Overton concelebrants. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Church Cemetery in Bardstown Kentucky.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 pm-8 pm with a Prayer service on Sunday at 6 pm with Deacon Arnold Downs, and on Monday morning 8–9:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.  Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
