John Ernest Clark

  John Ernest Clark, 85 of New Haven, died Monday September 3, 2012 at his residence.  He was a Catholic by faith, and a Member of the St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven, He was an US Army Veteran with the US Army Air Corps. He was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville as an Inspector in Bldg One.   John was preceded in death by his parents, John Felix and Elizabeth Marie Greenwell Clark, (2) sisters, Flora Nell Ballard, and Mary Thelma Cross.   John is Survived by his wife, Alice Ione Edlin Clark, (5) daughters, Donna (Ramey) Pottinger, New Haven, Rhonda (Ron) Knapp, Lexington, Jill (Jim) Carrico, New Haven, Tammy (Billy) Barrell, Richmond, and Theresa (Phil) Eagan, VA Beach, Virginia. (12) Grandchildren, and (2) great grandchildren.  A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday at St. Catherine Church in New Haven, with Rev. Troy Overton officiating, with burial in St. Catherine Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. John Clark will begin on Wednesday at 3pm till 8 PM and on Thursday morning 9 am-till 10:30 at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
