James Lewis Nalley, Sr.

James Lewis Nalley, Sr., 86, of New Haven, passed away June 18, 2025 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.  He was retired from 3N Basement Walls.  He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nalley; his parents, Joseph William and Elizabeth Nalley; four children, Bobby, Jamie, and Michael Nalley and Carol Bryan; along with five siblings, Phillip, Bobby, JW, and Pam Nalley and Karen Douglas.  He is survived by eight siblings, Rose Ann Cahoe (Happy), Kathleen Bowling, Bernadette Culver (Raymond), Sheila Dones, Arlene Snellen, Frankie Nalley (Jeannie), Marty Nalley (Carleen), and Freddy Nalley.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.  His final resting place will be the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.  Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven has been entrusted with arrangements.
