James Durbin Obituary

James Oscar "J.O." Durbin, 85, of New Haven, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Windsor Gardens of Bardstown. He was a retired employee of Seagram's Distillery, a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, where he served as a custodian and was a member of the Altar Society and a Eucharistic Minister. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane Smith Durbin; four sons, Charles Gregory "Greg", Michael Wayne "Mike" (Merky), Timothy Allen "Timmy" (Sara), and James Patrick "Jim Pat" (Angie) Durbin; three daughters, Carol Marie Reams (Terry), Tina Ann Sympson (Scott), and Rosemary Fleming (Dale); along with seventeen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home.
