James Leo Brady, 83, of Hodgenville, passed away July 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired employee of Belknap Hardware and a member of the Lincoln Trail Fish and Game Club, and St. Catherine Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Albert and Ethel Mae Hagan Brady; his siblings, Ethel Jean Lyvers and Billy Brady; along with a grand-daughter, Kayhla Brady. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Jean “Pig” Brady; his five children, Valerie Ann Brady (Greg Ballard), Melissa Dawn Clark (Francis), James “Jimbo” Brady, Jr. (Linda), Jenny Camp (Danny), and Patrick Brady; three brothers, Tony (Ann), Joe Paul (Milly), and Mike (Gayle) Brady; along with 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home.
