Harry Lewis "Lew" Parrish

  Harry Lewis “Lew” Parrish, 77 of Nelsonville died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Boston.  He was preceded in death by his First wife, Lila Neuleib Parrish, his parents, John William and Lela Lucille Crady Parrish, and (2) brothers; Marvin and Junior Parrish.   Lew is survived by his wife, Henrietta Nall Parrish, (3) Sons: Richard Parrish, Bill Parrish and Dennis Parrish all of Geneseo Illinois. (1) Daughter; Sue Robinson, Kewanee, Illinois. (1) step son; Barry Nall, Elizabethtown KY. (2) Sisters; Dorothy Clemons, Nelsonville KY and Mattie Gibson of New Haven KY. (4) Brothers; Donald Parrish and Jimmy Parrish both of Nelsonville KY, Larry Parrish of Louisville KY, and Foster Parrish of Corapeake NC. (11) grandchildren and (7) great grandchildren.  A Funeral service will be held, Saturday at 6 pm, January 5, 2013 at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven with Bro. Bruce Nichols Presiding. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM till 8 pm that same evening.  A visitation will also be held at the Vandemore Funeral Home, LTD and Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, both in Geneseo Il.
