Gloria Clark Obituary

Gloria Ann Newton Clark, Bardstown, age 58 died at Flaget Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2015  She was a Catholic by Faith and she attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Flaget Memorial Hospital with over 30 years of service. Gloria will be remembered by her compassion for others and her giving nature.  Gloria was preceded in death by a son, Allen Clark, her parents, James Paschal Margaret Weathers Newton, (2) brothers, Ronald Lane and Joseph Lane Newton, a sister, Mary Willie Greenwell.   Survivors include a Special Friend, Greg Dones, Boston, a daughter, Melissa Taylor (Allen), Holy Cross and a son Mark Clark (Vanessa) Bardstown. (4) grandchildren, Destiney Paige Smith, Austyn Levi Taylor, Hannah Danielle Taylor and Emma Lily Clark. (5) siblings, PJ Newton, Steve Newton (Ann) both of Holy Cross, Marion Newton of Bardstown, Katie Ball (Evan), Cox’s Creek , Tammy Jackson of New Haven, the father of her children, Tenny Clark of Bardstown, and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, April 30, 2015 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 pm-8 pm with prayer services beginning at 3pm, and on Thursday morning 9–10:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.  Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
