Gertrude Holton, 73, of New Haven, passed away October 14, 2019 at University Hospital.
She was the former Gertrude Allen, owned and operated the Cream Station, and attended Rolling Fork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Holton; her parents, William and Margie Dones Allen; her sister in law Pat Asborno; along with a niece, Karen Rice.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Holton and Cathy Vogel (Ronnie); four sisters, Margie Eakins (Mark), Barbara Moser (Jerry), Jenny Reed, and Linda Bartlett (Lindell); along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Abbey of Gethsemani. Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church. Rev. Bruce Nichols will be officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kentucky Railway Museum.
