Gary Lee Covington

Gary Lee Covington, 73, of New Haven, passed away March 1, 2022 at his home.  He was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a retired truck driver for the United States Postal Service.   Gary enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dirt track racing, fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty Covington; along with his wife, Linda Covington.  He is survived by two sons, Lee (Stacy) and Gary Lee (Angela) Covington; two daughters, Renee’ Smith and Sue Lawhorn (Dave); a sister, Debbie Covington; along with 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.  Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
