Gary Dale Barnes

Gary Dale Barnes, 64, of Lyons Station, passed away June 8, 2015 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was the owner of Barnes Auto Service, Barnes Fence Company, a former employee of Wilson Brothers and Joe Hill Auto Center, and a member of Rolling Fork Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Robert and Nancy Barnes; a sister Phyllis Dewitt, and his brothers, Bill, Bob, Ken, Dan, Donnie, and Larry Barnes. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jeanie Hardin Barnes; 3 sons, Jason (Naomi), Jimmy (Ami), and Jarrod (Chrissy) Barnes; 1 brother, Wayne Barnes (Patty); 1 sister, Mary Ann Herron, along with 9 grandchildren, Dylan Barnes-Moran, Danielle Barnes, Robbie Barnes-Moran, Chloe Barnes, Brandon Barnes, Lacey Barnes, Shelby Jordan, Kelsey Newton, and Brent Newton. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Rolling Fork Christian Church with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
