Francis Rogers Obituary

Francis Jefferson "Jeff" Rogers,72, of New Haven, passed away January 4, 2019 at his home. He was retired from a career in advertising sales, a former two term Mayor of New Haven, an Eagle Scout, a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Rogers; his parents, Francis Jefferson Rogers, Sr. and Alice Bush; along with a sister, Phyllis Payne. He is survived by his daughters, Laura Anne Jordan (Stan) and Angela Lynn Marshall (Kevin); two grandchildren, Savannah Lynn Jordan and John Carl Marshall; along with two nieces, Alice McKee and Ollie May. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Friday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Thomas Catholic Church, 870 St. Thomas Lane, Bardstown, KY 40004.
