Elizabeth Cecelia "Sis" Dewitt

Elizabeth Cecelia “Sis” Dewitt, age 86 of New Haven passed away, November 16, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville after a long illness.  She was born November 1, 1928. She was Catholic by faith and a lifelong member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church.  She enjoyed playing bingo and bowling.  Sis was preceded in death by her Parents, Abbie Marcellus and Annie Euphrasia Nalley Dewitt.  (8) siblings; Fredrick Eugene Dewitt, Andrew Jackson Dewitt, Rev. Robert Dewitt, Thomas Edward Dewitt, Rudolph Dewitt, Mary Theresa Reed, Annie Abbigail Dewitt and Ada Catherine Morris.    She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Mass for Elizabeth Cecelia Dewitt will be held on Wednesday Nov. 19, 2014 1:00 PM, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Fortener officiating, burial at the St. Catherine Cemetery, New Haven KY.  Visitation will be on Wednesday 9 am till 1 pm at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.  Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
