David Allen Blair

David Allen Blair, 67, of New Hope, KY, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Norton Hospital. He was a native of Nelson County, KY, a retired employee of General Electric, and an Army Vietnam veteran where he served as a medic. He was preceded in death by his parents, William John and Margaret Helen Blair; two sisters, Lucille Hambrick and Janice Culver; and a brother, Mike Blair. He is survived by his wife, Linda Mattingly Blair; Two sons, William Troy and Gregory Allan Blair; One daughter, Sherry Lynn Blair; Four brothers, John (Bonnie Sue), Ralph (Barbara), Jeff (Peggy), and Tommy (Debbie) Blair; One sister, Bonnie Jean Mouser (Dennis); Along with 6 Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven, KY. Friends may visit from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to the family or the Wounded Warrior Project.
