Christine Carol (Weaver) Barnes

Christine Carol Barnes, 74, passed away May 17, 2025 at the Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ida Weaver; her daughter, Ida Maire Ray; along with her siblings, John Weaver and Betty Morrow.  She is survived by her four daughters, Rebecca Wimsatt (Harold Walker), Martina Ray (Bob Weisbrodt), Mary Peres (Daniel), and Carol Barnes (Destry Hall); her siblings, Mike Weaver and Mary Potter; her grandchildren, Martin, Johnathon, Samuel, Cecilia, Frankie and Celenda; along with her great-grandchildren, Elsie, Junior, Tanner, Mason, and Madison.  Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery.  Friends may visit after 1 p.m. Monday until service time.  The family wishes to give a special thank you to the friends and staff at Springfield Nursing and Rehab for their love and care.
