Charles Ralph "Tinker" Culver, 85, of Culvertown, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of General Electric with 38 years of service, a 23 year employee of Promotional Wood Products, an avid fisherman, a United States Army Veteran, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Culvertown. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leon and Elenora Bryan Culver; along with four sisters, Faye and Beverly Rogers, Zelma "Snookie" Green, and Billy Joyce Thornsberry. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Williamson Culver; four sons, Keith (Sue), Kerry (Kathleen), Kent, and Karl Culver; two daughters, Karen Hutchens (Patrick) and Kathy Turrey (Bob); one brother, Derriel Culver (Marie); one sister, Vanessa O'Bryan (Wart); along with twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow in Saint Catherine Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Catherine Catholic School.
