Carl Edward "Eddie" Thomas, Jr., 67, of New Haven, passed away May 14, 2025 at his home. He was a sheet metal and HVAC worker, who loved the "Lake Life", especially at his houseboat on Nolin, hunting, and golf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl, Sr. and Charlene Thomas. He is survived by his two sons, Jason (Mindy) and Dewayne (Melissa) Thomas; three brothers, Timmy (Karen), Brad, and Shawn (Tina) Thomas; three sisters, Debbie Edelen (Ronnie), Lisa Smith (Marion), and Carla Thornsberry (Bruce); along with four grandchildren, Austin, Logan R., Logan C., and Owen, and one great-granddaughter, Sage. In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 22 at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.
