Bobby Ray Kennedy

A Lyons Station Resident Bobby Ray Kennedy 71, died Sunday July 29, 2012 at his residence. He was Born April 15, 1941 in Larue County to the late  Albert and Nannie Coyle Kennedy. Bobby was a member of the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Nelson County, He was retired Plant Manager of Zak Limited Cooperage at Athertonville, Ky. He was a Veteran with the United States Army and a Ky. Colonel.    Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Celesta Brady Kennedy and brothers Ernest Lee, Leonard “Fiddle bow”, Charles Lee, George Everett “Dugan” Kennedy a sister Bessie Holbert.   He is survived by his daughter Cindy Kennedy of Lyon’s Station and sister Betty Jacquart of Aurora Co. A Loving companion Shirley Hatfield, and her family Steven, Susan, Ashley, Alecia, Amber, and Anna Hatfield, Sherri, Alan, Emily, Mallory and  Tyler Sallee.   Celebration of Bobby’s life service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am August 1, 2012 at Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Boston “ Nelson County “ with Bro. Bruce Nichols and Bro. Scott Kerr presiding. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery New Haven Ky.   Visitation will be from 1:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 31st, and from 8; 00 until 10:30 am Wednesday then proceed to the Church for Service at 11:00 am.
