Ardell Holbert, 84, of Lebanon Junction, passed away June 29, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a member of the Kentucky Street Rod Hall of Fame and enjoyed car shows and cruises. He has several cars on display at the Sam Swope Auto Museum in Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Edna Tinnell Holbert; his first wife, Mary Lee Holbert; a second wife, Dinah Lynn Holbert; along with his siblings, Will and Ed Holbert and Jeannie Waters. He is survived by a son, James Ardell Holbert; five daughters, Terry Torres (Gerardo), Rebekah Luck, Faith Holbert, Tiffany Holbert, and Stephanie Holbert; a brother, Danny Holbert; a sister, Gloria Dean Vise; along with 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rolling Fork Christian Church with burial to follow in the Lebanon Junction Cemetery. Friends may visit after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.
