Ann Gilpin Obituary

 Ann Marie Cecil Gilpin, 82, of Bardstown, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at her home.  She was a homemaker and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar Society, Food Bank, Bereavement Committee and was an avid rosary maker.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin Kyle Hicks; along with her parents, Claude and Clara Devers Cecil; two brothers and eight sisters.  Ann is survived by her loving husband, Luther Gilpin; Seven daughters, Donna Gerber of Bardstown, Cheryl Gilpin of Elizabethtown, Pam Gilpin of Bardstown, Simone Brown (John) also of Bardstown, and Karen Green (Steve), Robin Brady (Jim) and Elaine Riggs (Allan) all of Holy Cross; Three sons, Roger (Inez) of Las Vegas, Danny (Virginia) of New Haven, and Tim (Charlotte) Gilpin, of Bardstown; one brother, Bill Cecil; and a sister, Laverne Mackin; along with 21 Grandchildren & 26 Great Grandchildren.  Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Chris Lubecke officiating and burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven, KY.
