Albert Emerson Sr. 85 of Hodgenville KY., passed away Fri. Oct. 30, 2015 at Sunrise Manor. He was born Aug. 21, 1930 in Jefferson Co. KY. Retired 25 years’ service from Ford Motor Company and a lifelong farmer. Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Laura Belle Hagan Emerson, 1 daughter Debra Carol Sullivan, 2 brothers Joe and Junie, and his second wife Anna Ruth Emerson. He is survived by his Sons, Mark “Renee”, Albert Jr., Donald Emerson and Daughters Sharlene Emerson, Susie “Sonny” Jones, and Sharon “Carroll” Parrett. Stepsons Stokely Cundiff, and Bobby Dalton. 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his first wife mother of his children, Lillian “Patsy” Emerson. 2 brothers Johnny and Winston, and sister Ruth Emerson. Special family friends, Evelyn and Eddie Wilson. Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation. Joseph L.
