Betty Culver Obituary

Betty Jean McDaniel Culver, 79, of Culvertown, passed away December 21, 2018 at Signature Healthcare at Sunrise Manor in Hodgenville. She was the retired owner and operator of Howie's Restaurant, a member of the American Legion Post 121, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she and her husband led the youth, the seniors, and helped with the bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Howard Culver. She is survived by two sons, Chris (Amie) and Brian (Lisa) Culver; one daughter, Bridget Culver; one sister, Mandy Pilkington; along with ten grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Culvertown with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday.
