Lavita Jackson Chesser

Age 49, of New Haven, Kentucky

Lavita Gail Jackson Chesser, 49 of New Haven, passed away Friday August 3 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was a Baptist by faith, a member of the Rolling Fork Baptist Church, and Eastern Star, Boston Chapter.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Ora Mae Wallace Jackson and one brother, Roger Jackson.

Lavita is survived by her (2) children, David Alan Chesser II and Brandy Nicole Meredith both of New Haven. Her Loving Companion of 33 years, David Alan Chesser. (4) sisters, Norma Downs, Patty Curtsinger both of Bardstown, Henrietta Smith of Tennessee, Genny Rucker of Gleanings. (2) Brothers, Danny Jackson of Boston and  Freeman Jackson of Bardstown. She is also survived by (2) grandchildren, Zackery and Paityn Chesser,  several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Service for Lavita Jackson Chesser will be at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven on Monday August 6, at 11:00 am

with Brother Bruce Nichols  presiding. Burial will be in Rolling Fork Church Cemetery.

Visitation for Lavita, will be Sunday from 3-8 PM, and Monday from 9am till the time of service at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home. An Eastern Star Service at 7PM on Sunday evening.
